Cookie policy

What a cookie is

It is a small file that a website stores in your browser to remember something between one visit and the next, such as the fact that you have already answered the cookie notice.

What cookies this website uses

The technical ones, which the website needs in order to work, and, only if you give us permission in the cookie notice, Google's measurement and advertising cookies, which tell us how many visits the website gets and how many people ask us for a quote after seeing one of our adverts.

They do not need your consent, because without them the website could not do what you ask of it.

Our own. It stores what you chose in the cookie notice, so that we do not ask you again on every page. It lasts one year.

Set by Google. The reCAPTCHA on the quote form uses it to tell a person apart from a program that sends forms in bulk. It lasts six months.

They are loaded by Google Tag Manager, a Google tool that manages the Google Ads and Google Analytics tags on the website. They are only set if you accept them. If you reject them, Google only receives cookieless signals with no data that identifies you: this is what is known as "consent mode".

Set by Google Ads. It links your visit to the advert you clicked on, to find out whether it ended in a quote request. It lasts three months.

Set by Google Analytics. They count visits and page views statistically, without knowing who you are. They last two years.

The WhatsApp, Instagram and Google buttons simply take you to their pages. While you are here they set nothing; once you get there, their own cookies apply.

How to change your choice

With the cookie button at the bottom left of any page, you can review your choice whenever you like.

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge. If you block the technical cookies, the form may stop working.

If this changes

If we ever add other kinds of cookies, we will say so here and ask for your permission before setting them.
