Renovating in Estepona
Every type of home in Estepona has its surprises. Knowing them before we start is what stops the quote changing halfway through the job.
Many town-centre flats still have the installations they were built with: old pipework, small fuse boards and sockets without an earth.

In a full renovation it is usual to renew the plumbing and electrics while the walls are open.
Old-town houses have thick walls, rising damp and ceilings that are worth checking.

Almost every renovation has to be notified to the Town Hall. An interior renovation that does not touch the structure is usually a simple procedure; if it affects the structure or the façade, it is a bigger one.
